SHADOW HILLS PRESCHOOL
Hours of operation: Monday-Friday 7:00 am-6:00 pm
Address: 7851 Vegas Drive
Shadow Hills Preschool was founded in 1975 and has been influential in the lives of thousands of families over the decades. We are a private, Christian preschool focused on developing the whole child – spiritually, emotionally, mentally, and physically. We are a play-based center that uses an age-appropriate Christian curriculum to teach Biblical foundations and meet the needs of each child in our program.
We currently offer full-time care for infants 9 months and up through Kindergarten. We have part-time options for our 2 and 3-year-old programs. Our facility is licensed by the State of Nevada as well as the Southern Nevada Health District. All staff members are followers of Christ and are members of Bible-believing churches around the Las Vegas valley; they love the Lord and lead the children in Biblical teaching, prayer, song, and character development. Everyone is a member of the Nevada Registry and annually completes 24 hours of training in Early Childhood.
Spirit Days and Special Programs/Events
We offer special programs and classes throughout the year such as Weekly Chapel, and Library/Computer. Kindergartners also have music, art, and PE class weekly. We also have spirit days and special events throughout the year such as Pumpkin Patch, Thanksgiving Feast, Christmas Spirit Week, Week of the Young Child, and more!
In our infant through 3-year-old programs, we use the Weekday Early Education (WEE) Curriculum by CDEA. More information can be found on their website: https://www.cdealliance.org/
Our Pre-K and Kindergarten programs use Abeka curriculum in order to give our oldest preschoolers a strong educational and spiritual foundation that will best prepare them for the elementary years. More information can be found on their website https://www.abeka.com/
