Women's Ministry Purpose

To bring women together, to encourage and strengthen one another, and to grow in the knowledge and grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.

As women, we are in different seasons of our life, I would like to personally invite you to be a part of Shadow Hill's Women's Ministry.

You have a lot to offer and we would love for you to take part in Bible Study & special events. Please pray where God would like you to be. I look forward to meeting you.

Women's Bible Studies - for women 18 years and above.

Nightlight - Matthew 5:15

(September - July) Wednesdays 6:15pm - 8:00pm in the Fellowship Center
Nightlight Fall Bible Study will resume Wednesday, September 1 at 6:15 pm in the Fellowship Center.   The new study will be "Jonah- Navigating A Life Interrupted" by Priscilla Shirer.  Book Cost is $12.00 and this will be a 7 week session.

S.A.L.T. - Seeking Abundant Life Together Colossians 4:6

(September - May) 9:15am- 11:45am in the Fellowship Center

Free child care provided by the church ages 4 mos through 5th grade. Doors for childcare open at 9:15am.  
S.A.L.T. will resume Tuesday, September 7 at 9:15 am.

  • "Praise Patterns - Magnifying God With Mary Of Nazareth," by Ruth J. Leamy.  Book cost:  $10.50.

C.H.A.T.S. - Coaching Hearts and Tutoring Sisters Titus 2:3-5

(September - April)
C.H.A.T.S. is a mentoring ministry where three special ladies, a Mentor, a Mentee and a Prayer Warrior are matched through prayer & petition and God's will for a commitment of six months. It is having a sister in Christ who wants the best for you and is looking for ways to help you grow toward full spiritual maturity. It is having a friend who will keep you accountable and help you learn and study God's Word. C.H.A.T.S. is about having someone to laugh with, cry with and experience God with. A Ministry of the heart which enables ordinary women to share in an extraordinary relationship.

We also have fellowship oppurtunities along with a stand-alone Bible study. Please check the calendar for exact dates and times. Open enrollment & kickoff are held during September of each year.

  • Open Enrollment/Orientation, September 10 from 6:30 - 8:30 pm in the Fellowship Center
  • Mentor Training, September 27 from 6:30 - 8:30 pm in the Fellowship Center
  • Kickoff/Open Enrollment Event, October 5 from 6:30 - 9:00 pm in the Fellowship Center

Helping Hands - A Service Action Ministry I Peter 4:10

Special Events

9th Annual Operation Schoolbag

 Thanks to everyone who participated in the 9th Annual Operation Schoolbag for 2010.  We collected over 345 backpacks, surpassing last year.  What a generous gift of love this is for our community and needy children.  Each backpack also includes donated Gideon Bibles.  Our church family has tremendously blessed us, even in these difficult times - far above and beyond what we asked.  God is awesome.
