Home For The Holidays – 4

I. Come home to God’s love and forgiveness.

‘Nothing in all creation is able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus.” Romans 8:39 (NIV)

“Come home to Me again, for I am merciful.” Jeremiah 3:12 (NLT)

“God showed how much He loved us by sending His one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through Him. This is real love... He sent His Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins.” 1 John 4:9-10 (NLT)

II. Come home to God’s peace and strength.

“If you are tired from carrying heavy burdens, come to Me and I will give you rest... rest for your soul.” Matthew 11:28-30 (CEV)

“He gives power to those who are tired and worn out; He offers strength to the weak.” Isaiah 40:29 (NLT)

“God will strengthen you with His own great power so that you will not give up when troubles come,...” Colossians 1:11 (NCV)

“When you lie down, you won’t be afraid; you will sleep in peace and you won’t worry about sudden disaster.” Proverbs 3:24-25 (NCV/GN)

III. Come home to God’s hope and joy.

“May God, the source of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him,...” Romans 15:13 (NIV)
