At Shadow Hills Baptist Church, we celebrate God’s gift of children  and recognize the responsibility that comes with this gift.  Our Bible-based curriculum is designed to teach preschoolers of all ages (even babies!) that God loves them and has a plan for them. Saturday Night

Childcare is available during the 5 p.m. worship service for children Pre-K and under. Bible study for all preschoolers (babies through Kindergarten) begins at 6:15pm.

Classes accept children 15 minutes prior to worship and Bible study times. Classes are located in the Children's Center.

 

Sunday Mornings

Age-appropriate Bible study is available for babies (3 months and up) through Kindergarten* at 9:00am, 10:15am and 11:30am. Classes accept children 15 minutes prior to Bible study times. All classes are located in the Children's Center.

*Kindergartners are encouraged to attend one hour of Bible study and one hour of worship with their family.

 

TeamKID - Wednesday Nights - 6:30 - 8:00 PM

TeamKID is an exciting program for 3 year olds through Kindergarten. This year preschoolers will be exploring "All Around" their churches, homes, towns, feelings, God's creation, friends and Bible times. Quality childcare is available for babies (3 months and up) through 2 year olds. All classes are located in the Children's Center. The fall semester of TeamKID will begin on Wednesday, September 2nd.

 

Preschool Choir - Sunday Nights - 5:00 - 6:30 PM

Preschool choir is for children 3 years old through Kindergarten and is offered in the Spring and Fall. The fall session is scheduled to begin Sunday, September 27, 2009. Your preschooler will enjoy a night of singing, clapping and praising God. Each semester the children will perform songs they've learned for their families. Quality childcare is available for babies (3 months and up) through 2 year olds. All classes are located in the Children's Center.

 

 

Vacation Bible School

Vacation Bible School is for children going into 1st - 6th grade for the 2010/2011 school year. This year's VBS will be held June 14th - June 18th, 2010. It is titled "Saddle Ridge Ranch - Roundin' Up Questions and Drivin' Home Answers." Registration will begin in early June.

Fall Festival

This carnival style event is packed with fun, food, costumes, games and prizes. 
Held at the end of October.  Everything is FREE  and open to the public.

 

Operation Christmas Child

This is a special project taken on each year by our church to provide shoeboxes filled with Christmas goodies for children overseas.

Emphasis begins in October.

 

Volunteers

Our ministry exists because of our loving volunteers. In order to provide a safe environment for the children, all full-time Bible study leaders are required to be members of Shadow Hills Baptist Church and have undergone a background check.
