We have adopted the Delta People – an unreached people group in Southeast Asia. The Delta People have very little to no access to the Gospel in a country that is hostile to Christianity. We are working with partners on the ground to provide an orphanage and school. We also are involved in the training of church leaders in a local Bible College as well as supporting and training church planters.
We have adopted the Wadi People – an unreached people group on the Arabian Peninsula. The Wadi are over 99.9% lost and have no access to the Gospel. We are working with partners on the ground to win the Wadi to Jesus Christ and to plant churches amongst them.
North African Muslims
We have missionaries from Shadow Hills who are working in Europe amongst North African Muslim immigrants. We will be sending teams to assist in projects to share the Gospel as well as plant churches amongst these various unreached people groups.
The Hills @ Summerlin South
We are planting a campus of Shadow Hills in the 89135 zip code. We are currently working on securing a location for this campus, which we plan on launching on Easter Sunday of 2014. We will target the 89135 zip code, as well as the western parts of 89117 and 89147.
Aliante – Las Vegas
Brett and Cindy Capaci will be joining our staff in January 2014 as they prepare to plant a church in Aliante. Brett will be serving as a North American Mission Board Church Planting Apprentice for a year with the goal of launching the new church in January of 2015.
Downtown - Las Vegas
Jeff and Peggy Chaves is working with us as they begin the process of planting a church as a part of the revitalization project downtown. We are excited to partner with them to plant a church amongst the up-and-coming businessmen and women who are now moving to the new downtown community.
We are excited to be a partnering church with Zeke and Lane Tomaselli as they plant a church in Hilo, Hawaii. We have already partnered with them financially, but we also look forward to sending teams to assist in the plant.
Caring 4 Kids
We have partnered with the Serving our Kids Foundation to help feed, and meet the needs of Clark County homeless and at-risk children. Currently we serve over 400 weekend lunches to 4 local elementary schools in our neighborhood every Friday. We pack the lunches on the first and third Monday of every month.
Lunches of Love
Lunches of Love puts together 150 sack lunches along with clothing items made by Helping Hands and Bibles and delivers them to the homeless the first Saturday of every month.
Good News Bible Clubs
Shadow Hills partners with Child Evangelism Fellowship® and has the great privilege of teaching after-school Bible clubs, called Good News Club ®, in local elementary schools here in Southern Nevada. Clubs are held weekly for approximately one hour and include a Bible verse, Bible story, games, songs and snacks.
Good News Family Club
Our Family Good News Club is a spinoff of the above mentioned Good News Bible Clubs. It meets once a month at a local elementary school and is geared towards the entire family. It includes a light dinner, Bible lesson for the entire family, memory verse, songs, games, and prayer for the families. It is a great way for families of all ages to serve together!
Shadow Hills serves alongside with a number of local non-profit organizations. From financial support to hands on volunteer work we partner with over 20 organizations. LV Rescue mission, Women’s Resource Center, and the Ronald McDonald House are just a few!
