Production Arts Ministry

Each week many men and women volunteer their time to serve as a part of the Media Team. These teams provide Audio, Video, and Presentation for our Worship Services.

Video:

The Camera Operators are responsible for set-up and strike and all video equipment, shooting video of services, and working with the Director and Producer for other tasks as needed. The Video Director is responsible for switching and mixing of video shots, calling shots, and recording services on multiple formats.

Presentation:

These volunteers present lyrics and sermon notes during Worship Services.

Sound: The Front of House and Recording Audio volunteers work together to provide a high quality sound reproduction both for live and recorded venues.

Lighting:

Lighting volunteers work to ensure that all services are evenly lit with appropriate use of intelligent lighting. CD Ministry: The CD Ministry Team provides audio duplication and worldwide distribution of the services at Shadow Hills.

Drama:

We believe that drama is one of the most powerful communication tools God created. Drama is all around us – life is drama. God’s Word, the Bible, is filled with drama, both visual and mental. Worship is drama in its purest sense…actions and attitudes. I am not speaking of entertainment here. I am speaking of movement, thought, dialogue, sound, light, response, all geared toward leading an individual into the presence of God where he or she can genuinely worship and glorify Him. We delight in the use of different dramatic mediums to enhance and inspire the worship experience.

Stage Crew:

These volunteers work with the details of moving props and set pieces, managing the back stage area, and assisting in other ways as needed.

There is no schedule except during productions time.

Sheila Cutting
Creative Arts, Worship Performing Arts Ministry Team Leader

Sheila is a native Tennessean and a graduate from the University of Tennessee. She has been a member of Shadow Hills since 1974. Before joining the church staff full time in 1983 she was a performer on the Las Vegas Strip. She is the mother of 2 sons, Damon (Jaymie) Cutting and Brandon Cutting and has 2 grandchildren, Connor Ravin and Payton Rose Cutting. Sheila loves working with people on many different levels helping them to tap into, cultivate and use the talents and abilities the Lord has given them as they develop artistically and grow spiritually.
