High School Students

The High School Ministry encourages 9th-12th grade students to grow in their relationships with God and each other through Biblical teachings, relevant events and community-building small groups.

Shadowhillians offers an awesome opportunity for teens to be challenged and grow in their faith with powerful worship and thought-provoking messages. Come and find a relaxed atmosphere to worship God, catch up with friends and grow in your walk.

Every week relevant truth is shared on topics that hit home, such as family struggles, dating issues, faith, and how to have a personal walk with the Lord and really thrive in High School. You don't want to miss this awesome weekly event!

Staff

Henry Lopez
High School Pastor

Enrique Alejandor Lopez is a native Las Vegan, most call him Henry. He married his High School sweetheart Mary in 2000 and they are now the proud parents of three awesome children. Henry draws his education from three categories: the streets, the class room, and God’s word. He completed Bachelors in Education from the University of Nevada Las Vegas in 2002, and currently has him as an MBA candidate at Grand Canyon University. His greatest educator, motivator, and source of conviction is God’s word. Henry has served here at Shadow Hills for 10 years as the High School Pastor.

Ben Butterfield
High School Assistant

Ben is one of the youngest on staff, and has worked alongside Henry since 2009. He was born and raised here in Las Vegas to wonderfully talented parents, one a dancer now teacher who dances occasionally and the other a musician who is currently playing at the Rio. Ben attended the Las Vegas Academy for percussion and went on to pursue music in college for a year. We are thrilled that our Lord called him back home to Shadow Hills to minister to our young people.
