Babies - Kindergarten
It is never too early to introduce children to the love of God.
The Garden Patch is a perfect place for little ones (babies through kindergarten) to grow and develop. We celebrate God's gift of children and recognize the responsibility that comes with this gift. Our Bible-based curriculum is designed to teach preschoolers of all ages (even babies!) that God loves them and has a plan for them.
Our volunteers are prepared to meet the needs of your children and are dedicated to providing the absolute best care for your child. We are committed to building a partnership with parents to provide a total ministry to children.
Bible Study for preschoolers?
YES! We believe even the youngest of preschoolers can learn truths from the Bible. Our leaders use an age-graded curriculum to teach preschoolers Bible truths such as: God loves me, I can choose to obey God, and I can show love to others. Preschoolers learn in a variety of activities including Bible learning centers, arts and crafts, games, and songs. Children will also have playground time and a small snack during class.

Rebecca McLemore
Early Childhood Minister
Rebecca and her husband Bill have been married 16 wonderful years and have 2 sweet little boys, Aidan (4) and Tristan (2). She has called Las Vegas home since 1989 and has had the blessing of Shadow Hills as her church family since 1990. She graduated UNLV in 1998 with a teaching degree and taught for 8 years before being called to ministry here at Shadow Hills in 2006. If and when she does get some free time, Rebecca loves to read, be outdoors, and paint or draw. Mostly she tries to spend as much time as possible with her boys who make her laugh so much.
Jeanie Edwards
Early Childhood Assistant
Jeanie, her husband Steve and their younger son Craig moved to Las Vegas from Illinois about 15 years ago. Their older son Steve and their two grandchildren, Nick & Cady were already here. They became part of the Shadow Hills family in 1999. Jeannie became a part of the children’s ministry staff in 2002. Serving in this ministry has been a great privilege and joy to her.
